Attorney Andrew Weinstein Elected to Position of Precinct Committeeman Serving the Democratic Party in Broward County

Coral Springs, FL – Andrew J. Weinstein, managing partner and founder of the Weinstein Law Firm, was recently elected to the position of Precinct Committeeman for Precinct E018 in Broward County, Florida. The 2008 Primary Elections were held on August 26th, at which time local voters directly elected Weinstein for this position.

Precinct Committeemen play a vital role in supporting and promoting their party in their local precincts. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting precinct volunteers; encouraging community residents to vote; endorsing specific candidates; distributing election information and candidate literature to local residents; and updating voter records.

Andrew Weinstein has played an active role in the political community for more than a decade as both an advocate of pro-consumer legislation and as a fundraiser for both local and national political candidates. In addition to being active in politics, he also supports several community and charitable organizations.

“I believe that it is every citizen’s duty to learn about their candidates and the political process, and that by working at a grass roots level – we can effectively influence the quality of leadership representing us in our local, state and national government,” Weinstein stated.

He goes on to explain that the very same qualities he applies to his law practice – integrity, dedication, and meticulous examination of detail – lend themselves well to his political position.

Of the three candidates for Precinct Committeeman in his Precinct, Weinstein received the largest percentage of votes. His position officially begins in November upon the completion of the General Election, and he will hold this office for four years.
